Mary Ann Jeanette Kelley, age 83, St. Cloud, MN, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11;00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Mary Ann was born June 25, 1930 in St. Cloud, MN to Charles H. and Veronica (Lindmeier) Wiehoff. She married Warren G. Kelley on September 20, 1947 in St. Cloud, MN. Mary Ann was employed by St. Cloud State University as a custodian and later as director of the mail room. She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Women of the Moose. Mary Ann was also a member of St. Cloud VFW Post #428 Auxiliary and Sweet Adelines. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. At the age of 65, Mary Ann received her GED. She enjoyed working in her garden and bird watching. Mary Ann had an undying love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Wayne (Nita) Kelley of Sauk Rapids, MN; Layne (Rochelle) Kelley of New Richmond, WI; Donnalynn (George) Erickson of St. Cloud, MN; Jeanne (Dennis) Straus of Chaska, MN; and Janet (John) Devine of Shakopee, MN; brothers and sister; Ron Wiehoff of Melrose, MN; Jim (Joan) Wiehoff of Westcliffe, CO; Ken (Hilda) Wiehoff of Cotopaxi, CO: Don (Bev) Wiehoff of Sartell, MN; and Janet (Chuck) Lister of Paynesville, MN; sister-in-law, Leona Wiehoff of St. Cloud, MN; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren on October 8, 2003, sister Corinne Wiehoff, and brothers, Charles, Richard and Jerry Wiehoff.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Prince of Peace Lutheran School, St. Cloud, MN or Redeemer Lutheran Church. |
