Jeanette was born April 30, 1919 in Minneapolis, MN to Joseph T. and Nettie (Carlson) Isaacson. She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis. During her high school years, Jeanette worked as a nurses aid. She later graduated from business college and worked as a secretary and switchboard operator. Jeanette lived briefly with her sister, Wilma in Bremerton, WA before returning to marry Harold.
Jeanette came to faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior as a child and was baptized as a young adult at Buffalo Lake Bible Camp, near Buffalo, MN. In 1933 Jeanette met Harold E. Anderson at Buffalo Lake Bible Camp. The couple was married on January 15, 1944 during WWII. After the war, Harold and Jeanette lived in Harold’s home town of Isle, MN. In 1952 they moved to St. Cloud, MN where the couple lived the rest of their 57 married years. During those years Harold established Anderson Trucking Service and various other trucking-related companies.
Jeanette and Harold had four children: Rollie Harold, Connie Jean, who died after one month from spina bifida, James LeRoy and Barbara Jean. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a faithful member of Calvary Community Church in St. Cloud, MN, where she taught Sunday School and served as a deaconess. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed providing a nurturing home for her husband and family. Jeanette liked crocheting and needlepoint. She particularly enjoyed flower gardening and took great pride in her rose gardens. She found great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jeanette enjoyed attending stock car races and watching bull riding on television. She was also a loyal Vikings fan.
