     Rudolph August Felling, age 86, Waite Park, MN, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. St. Cloud VFW Post #428 prayer service will be at 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home followed by the Waite Park American Legion Post #428 prayer service at 6:15 PM. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Rudolph was born February 8, 1928 in Belgrade, MN to Joseph G. and Veronica (Laubach) Felling. He served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1947. Rudolph was married to Ethel Thielen on June 20, 1953 in Elgin, IL. Rudolph started Felling Products in 1959 and Goldleaf Plastics in 1983. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Waite Park American Legion Post #428, St. Cloud VFW Post #428, and St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622. Rudolph loved going to their lake home on Rice Lake in Paynesville, MN. He enjoyed lunch outings with his girls, playing cards with family and friends, and time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
     Survivors include his daughters, Sharon (Bernie) Schuldt of St. Augusta, MN; Sandra (Dan) Berling of St. Cloud, MN; Lori (Lee) Fesenmaier of St. Cloud, MN; Linda Bennett of Burnsville, MN; sisters, Delores Handeland of Cottage Grove, MN; Dorothy Unger of Sauk Centre, MN; Shirley Goering of Crookston, MN; Georgia Rooney of Belgrade, MN; ten grandchildren, Rebecca, Joel, Christopher, Matthew Jacquelyn, Carina, Shane, David, Luke and Sarah; and eleven great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Olivia, Madelyn, Benjamen, Emily, Elizabeth, Izabell, Kendal, Ruby, David and Kaleb, and many nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ethel on April 7, 1993, brothers, Wilfred, Joseph, Gary, Bernie, Ernie and Cyril Felling, and sisters, Madeline Roel and Loverna Felling.
     Pallbearers will be Bernie Schuldt, Dan Berling, Lee Fesenmaier, Joel Schuldt, Christopher Schuldt, Matthew Schuldt, Shane Fesenmaier and Ken Felling.
