James “Jamie” Arlyn Brouwer, age 42, St. Cloud, MN, joined our heavenly father Wednesday, February 11, 2015. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends along with his extended Calvary Community Church family. Those who were touched by Jamie understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Jamie was born July 21, 1972 in Willmar, MN to Edward and Nellie (Borger) Brouwer. He graduated in 1990 from Prinsburg Christian School in Prinsburg, MN. Jamie traveled with a career with Wal-Mart in Minnesota from 1990 to 2004 and worked at Spee-Dee Delivery as a route driver from 2004 to 2014. His employment ended when he was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma cancer.
Jamie thoroughly enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, his favorite Nascar drive, Carl Edwards, UFC fights and St. Cloud State Huskies sporting events. He was a very helpful and handy person and would share God’s love with those he interacted with.
He is survived by his loving wife, best friend and companion, Rhonda; daughter, Kalsee Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; sons, Brady Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; Linkcoln Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; Tucker Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; mother, Nellie Brouwer of Willmar, MN; brother, Ronald (Sherri) Brouwer of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Barb (Mark) LaBarre of Willmar, MN; Judy (Randy) Pierskalla of St. Cloud, MN; Sharon (Richard) Skaja of St. Cloud MN; along with several nieces, nephews and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Brouwer and son, Alexander Brouwer.

Jamie was a casual person and requested that those coming to honor his memory to dress casually. Condolences may be sent to PO BOX 7022, St. Cloud, MN 56302.
