     Emma Jane Hoffman, age 85, St. Cloud, MN died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Country Manor Care Center, Sartell, MN.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Jane was born July 7, 1929 in Brainerd, MN to Harry W. and Dorothea (Stedtfeld) Creger. She married John “Jack” Hoffman on June 18, 1966 in Minneapolis, MN. Jane graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, MN and was employed by the Mayo Clinic after graduating. Jane then worked as a nurse anesthetist for the hospitals in Bertha, Crosby, and Aitkin as well as the Brainerd State Hospital. After moving to St. Cloud Jane worked as a nurse at Sterling Park Care Center in Waite Park. She was a member of the Central Minnesota Parish Nurse Ministry, which helped churches establish parish nurse programs. Jane served as the parish nurse for First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud and also volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Community Collaboration Committee, ANA and Waite Park American Legion Post #425 Auxiliary. Jane loved gardening and was especially fond of her rose garden.
     Survivors include daughter, Jacqueline (Jeff) Benn of Clearwater, MN; son, David (Nicole) Hoffman of Naperville, IL; and six grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack, on December 7, 2006, infant daughter, Sheri Jane, and three brothers, Robert, Donald and James Creger.
