     Harold August Wolfe, age 78, Waite Park, MN, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home.
     Funeral services will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Columbarium, St. Cloud, MN.
     Harold was born October 10, 1936 in Faribault, MN to Harry Wm. and Hilda (Bremer) Wolfe. He was a 1954 graduate of Faribault High School. On March 3, 1956 Harold married Eleanor “Ellie” Hughes at East Weymouth Congregational Church in East Weymouth, MA. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1957. Harold received his BS Degree from Mankato State University in 1960, a Masters Degree from St. Cloud State University in 1967 and his Master’s Plus 60 from St. Cloud State University. Harold taught for St. Cloud District 742 for 33 years, from 1960 to 1993. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Waite Park American Legion Post #428. Harold loved to hunt, fish, golf and travel.
     Survivors include his wife, Ellie Wolfe of Waite Park, MN; daughter and sons, Susan (Doug) Klunk of Elk River, MN; Scott A. (Denise) Wolfe of St. Cloud, MN; Todd Wm. (Sandy) Wolfe of Richmond, TX; Eric Hughes (Diane) Wolfe of Eau Claire, WI; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
     Memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospital Hospice, Coborn’s Cancer Center or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
     Harold’s family would like to thank the hospice staff for the care and support they provided.
