     John Lee O’Brien, age 58, Sartell, MN died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home in Sartell.
     Memorial services will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Living Waters Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids, MN. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday at the church in Sauk Rapids. Burial will be in the Lafayette First Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lafayette, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     John was born December 28, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN to Patrick and Yvonne (Spartz) O’Brien. He married Tina Hoffman on October 26, 1976 in Lafayette, MN. John was a graduate of Dunwoody Institute. He was employed by De Zurik, International Paper Mill and most recently by the Sherco Power Plant. John was a great cook and liked roasting his own coffee beans. He enjoyed motorcycle riding across the country and spending time at his retirement home in North Carolilna. John loved music and played drums in three bands for many years.
     Survivors include his wife, Tina O’Brien of Sartell, MN; son, Zachary (Erin) O’Brien; daughter, Autumn O’Brien; parents, Patrick and Yvonne O’Brien; brothers and sisters, Mick (Sylvie) O’Brien; Tim O’Brien; Joe (Val) O’Brien; Dan (Chris) O’Brien; Mary O’Brien; Kathy (Dave) McKeag; and granddaughter, Lillian.
     He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Shirley Hoffman.
