Cy N. Kalthoff, age 75, Waite Park, MN died unexpectedly Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Chandler, AZ.
Per Cy's request, graveside services will be Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waite Park, MN. Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Cy was born August 22, 1940 in St. Martin, MN to Joseph and Anna (Jacobs) Kalthoff. He graduated from Albany High School and then served in the US Army. Cy worked as an electrician in the St. Cloud area most of his life. He was a member of IBEW local 292 for 44 years and a member of MN Gold Wing Central Chapter. He enjoyed winters in Arizona, golfing (including golf ranger at Rich Spring Golf Course), motorcycling, fishing, hunting and baseball.
Survivors include children, Cindy (Keith Gerding) Libbesmeier of St. Cloud, MN; Randy (Lori Edlund) Kalthoff of Cold Spring, MN; Dennis (Kaye) Kalthoff of Cold Spring, MN; two grandsons, Brandon and Aaron Libbesmeier; best friend and companion, Ginny Schmitz of Waite Park, MN; brothers and sisters, Linus (Jenny) Kalthoff of Albany, MN; Norb (Verna) Kalthoff of Cold Spring, MN; Joe (Jane) Kalthoff of Albany, MN; Bob (Renee) Kalthoff of St. Martin, MN; Julie Ann (Elmer) Vossen of Cold Spring, MN; and Mary Jane (Mark) Kriz of Lino Lakes, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bernard Ben Kalthoff.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Kalthoff, Randy Kalthoff, Norb Kalthoff, Ron Kalthoff, Aaron Libbesmeier, and Brandon Libbesmeier.
