Adeline G. Klein, age 88, of St. Cloud, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Benedicts Senior Community Chapel, St. Cloud with visitation one hour prior to mass at the chapel. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Arrangements are with Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Adeline was born May 22, 1928 in Melrose, MN to George and Clara (Winters) Klein. She was employed by the Diocese of St. Cloud for 50 years as a, housekeeper for the late Fr. Eugene Belair. Adeline received the Bishops Medal for her many years of dedication to the church and community. She enjoyed teaching Catechism, the occasional fishing trip, sporting events, visiting with her family, and was a dedicated fan of WCCO’s Dave Moore.
She is survived by her sister, Ethel Gill; brother, Ernest Klein; brother-in-law, LeRoy Winter; nieces and nephews, Sheila, Steve, Kevin, Kim , Jimmy, Richard, Frank, Laura, Carol, Karen, Joe, Marvin, and Judy and many great-nieces and nephews.
Adeline is preceded in death by her parents George and Clara Klein; brother, Melvin Klein; sisters, Ludwina Winter and Juletta Klein; brother-in-law, Herbert Gill and nephew, Michael Klein.
The family would like to thank the St. Benedict’s Senior Community and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care and support.
