Sara Jane Schramm, age 55, St. Cloud, MN, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 26 , 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. John Gabrielson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cokato Cemetery, Cokato, MN.
Sara was born September 7, 1961 in Faribault, MN to Earl E. and Gloria K. (Nelson) Schramm. She graduated from St. Cloud Apollo High School in 1980 and received a BA degree in music from St. Cloud State University in 1985. In 1990 Sara earned a degree in Advertising from St. Cloud Technical College. Sara shared her great love of music through playing piano and giving piano lessons. She completed a Level 9 Piano Comprehensive Examination of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. in 1980. Sara also loved animals and enjoyed walking at Munsinger and Clemens Gardens in St. Cloud.
Survivors include sisters, Jo Ellen “Josie” (Bill) Schramm Axness of Minneapolis, MN; and Beth Ann Schramm of St. Cloud, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are preferred to the Tri County Humane Society or the National Alliance on Mental Illness St. Cloud (NAMI). |
