    LORA L. (KESSLER) LAUTT, 95
    Sartell, MN
    January 17, 1921 - November 2, 2016

Lora L. Lautt, 95, of Sartell, MN went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 2, 2016, while hymns were playing and Bible verses read.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.
Lora was born January 17, 1921 in Anamoose, ND to Jake and Katie (Zimbelaman) Kessler. She grew up on farms around Anamoose, ND. Lora accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a young child. She began teaching country school in 1940, while attending Minot State Teachers College in the summer. On September 6, 1942 she was united in marriage to Ernest Lautt. After 5 children and many moves, Lora completed her teaching degree in 1966.
Most important in Lora’s life was her faith in God. She was a faithful partner with Ernest as they served their Lord together, Ernest as a pastor and Lora welcoming all for a meal. She ministered in many areas in the churches they served.
Lora will be remembered for the letters and birthday cards faithfully sent to friends and family for many years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, baking, knitting and collecting Precious Moments. Lora spent many hours reading her Bible and praying for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Her gentle smile and twinkle in her eyes will be missed.
Lora is survived by her loving children: Bernadine (Robert) Dwinnell of Long Lake, MN; Eileen (Lynn) Daniels of St. Cloud, MN; Terry (Laura) Lautt of Hutchinson, KS; Linda Lautt and Vivian Marsden both of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Emma Mayer of Plymouth, MN; sisters-in-law, Eva Kessler of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Doris Lautt of Harvey, ND
Lora was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Ernest, grandson, Lewis Dwinnell, and three brothers and one sister.
Special thank you to Country Manor Staff for the care and support given to our mom during the time she lived there. Mom loved you all.
Memorials are preferred to Camp Lebanon or Samaritans Purse.
