     Susan Wischmann Lieberg, age 52, St. Cloud, MN, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
     Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 1107 Pinecone Rd. S., Sartell, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at a later date in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Susan was born June 13, 1964 in Litchfield, MN to Glenard A. and Karolyn A. (Kosek) Wischmann. She graduated from St. Cloud Apollo High School and received a Masters Degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University in 1994. Susan was a licensed independent social worker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Susan enjoyed traveling with family to such places as Kauai, Palm Springs and the Caribbean. She also loved her Cavalier King Charles Dogs.
     Survivors include her husband, John Lieberg of St. Cloud, MN; four legged “son”, Carson, a Cavalier King Charles; parents, Glen and Kelly Wischmann of St. Cloud, MN; twin brother, Steve (Lori) Wischmann of St. Cloud, MN; sister, Lynn Lindsay of St. Cloud, MN; nephews, Mitchell Wischmann of St. Cloud, MN, Mark and Anthony Lieberg of Pyongtaek, Korea and niece, Adrienne Lindsay of St. Cloud, MN; mother and father in law, Karen Ann Lieberg of Cosmos, MN and Craig (Karen M.) Lieberg of Clear Lake, MN; brother in law, Andrew (Pailin) Lieberg of Lima, OH.
     She was preceded in death by her two beloved “boys” KayCee and Edward, both Cavalier King Charles dogs.
     The family would like to extend a special thank you to CentraCare Palliative team nurse, Mandy Doering and Sue’s cousin, Ann Glasoe for care during Sue’s final days.
     To honor Sue, she requested everyone to wear purple. She also wishes memorials be given to her favorite Cavalier rescue organizations: American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Trust (www.cavalierrescueusa.org) or Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue (www.luckystarcavalierrescue.org).
