In addition to serving individuals and families, we welcome civic, educational or religious groups to tour our facility. Our staff is available to speak on a number of topics related to the sometimes difficult and awkward subjects of death and surviving, funerals and cremation, and what to expect when making arrangements and why prearrangements are growing in popularity. Although we encourage groups to visit the funeral home, we are also willing to speak to your group at a place which is more convenient for its members.

Whether we are sitting with a family in an arrangement conference, conducting a tour for a Confirmation class, or talking to a group at a senior citizens’ center about the importance of pre-planning, we are committed to providing the people of the Central Minnesota area with accurate, useful information. We also understand that grief does not end with the funeral service; our care does not end then either. Supportive listening and gentle education about the grief process are hallmarks of the aftercare service Benson Funeral Home is honored to provide for the families we serve. Three to four weeks after a death, our grief specialist contacts the family, providing a sympathetic ear, in-home visits, grief and loss information, and counseling service contacts.
